Blue Rooster flies the coup to win the SCCA/Starbucks GP as a team. Fischer Pluming delivers a strong second to defend their overall lead of the team series followed by Bikesport to round off the day’s podium. Tacoma Cyclocross shall not be dropped as they break free from the three way tie for last place.
The racing will be furious at the Woodland Park GP with four teams within reach of the top overall placements. Important team competition races are the Women’s and Men’s Single Speed and Masters categories where each of the top teams tend to have riders near the front. Full standings posted here.
Many have asked what is at stake for winning the Team Competition and after days and days of brainstorming the proper prize we can now announce what the victorious team shall receive:
- All members still racing with the 2013 winning team will receive front row call-ups at Kick-Off Cross 2014,
- The winning team can paint one MFG barrier to their liking to commemorate their 2013 victory during the 2014 MFG Cyclocross Series.
