Rapha Cross Clash – Name Your Nemesis

Long-time friends of the Series and Elite Men & Women title sponsor,  Rapha, are once again stirring things up for ‘Cross 2012 with their Cross Clash challenge.

The premise is simple:  Celebrate cross and give a nod to the “race within a race” that we all know goes on, week in and week out.

For the 2012 MFG Cyclocross season, we’ll be playing along with Rapha in support of Cross Clash by inciting you to Name of your Nemesis at each event. You know that fellow racer who just pips you at the line each week, and no matter what you do, you are always within a place or two of this person?   For Randy Salomon, his nemesis is of course Andy Salmon.

Starting this weekend at the Kick-Off Cross, you can visit the Customer Service tent, name your nemesis*, and you’ll be awarded a Kill-Sticker at after you beat your nemesis.

*Your nemesis is chosen by you.

*The naming of your nemesis does not have to be mutually agreed upon by both parties.

*The spirit of the battle is that it’s a close race; choose appropriately.

*You can name a new nemesis each week, but it’s probably more fun to battle all year.

*Rapha Kill Stickers are awarded for battling in MFG races only.
