  • Rapha Says, “Keep Cross and Clash On”

Long-time friends and Series Sponsor Rapha are once again stirring things up for ‘Cross 2011 with their Keep Cross and Clash On campaign.

The premise is simple:  Celebrate cross and give a nod to the “race within a race” that we all know goes on, week in and week out.

For the 2011 MFG season, we’ll be playing along with Rapha in support of Keep Cross and Clash On by inciting a Naming of your Nemesis at each event.

You know that fellow racer who just pips you at the line each week, and no matter what you do, you are always within a place or two of this person?   For Randy Salomon, his nemesis is of course Andy Salmon.

Starting this weekend at the Rapha-Focus GP, you can visit the Rapha tent, name your nemesis*, and you’ll be awarded a Kill-Sticker at the following MFG event.

*Your nemesis is chosen by you.

*The naming of your nemesis does not have to be mutually agreed upon by both parties.

*The spirit of the battle is that it’s a close race; choose appropriately.

*You can name a new nemesis each week, but it’s probably more fun to battle all year.

*Rapha Kill Stickers are awarded for battling in MFG races only.

In 2002 Coal started as a labor of love in an apartment in Portland, Oregon. In Coal’s first year, they launched the brand with a vision for a quality headwear line inspired by friends and family—one that would be an outlet for our whole new take on the woolen, knit beanie. Coal was founded on the belief that headwear is more than an accessory.  It’s part of you, your identity, and your lifestyle.
