We are pleased to announce that the previously cancelled Lincoln Park CX race for this Saturday, October 31st, has found a new home and King County CX will take place the same day, the same time! Please visit the Series Information page on our web site for King County CX directions and further details.
A huge thanks to John V. and Helen G. at King County Parks,, Andy M. at Hup United, and Debra L. at Highline for suggesting and permitting an event in less than 30 hours.
You can still register here for King County CX. We will be keeping registration open until FRIDAY NIGHT at 5 PM Pacific. If you have registered for the R.F.K.A.L.P (Race formerly known as Lincoln Park!), you are automatically registered for King County CX. If you were registered for Lincoln and want a refund, please contact zac at mfgcyclocross.com
Are you psyched that King County has been super accommodating to MFG and the Cyclocross community? Email King County Parks and Rec Assistant to the Director Kevin Brown and say thanks for all the work John V. and Helen G have done:

Looks like a great venue!!! Nice job guys!!!
Is it the case that if we already pre-registered on BikeReg for Lincoln Park CX (R.I.P.), we’re auto-magically registered for this new race??
~D
Yes we retained the registrations. See post if you desire a refund.
We as a racing community really need to cross our t’s and dot our i’s when it comes to keeping the neighborhood and venue how we left it. I think that a positive note from this venue will certainly throw it back at the Lincoln Park folks and maybe open their eyes to what the lost economically and in entertainment.
USE the porta potties
PICK UP your litter
TREAT the neighbors nicely
SAY please and thank you
ROCK on.
Let’s all go have a sh#t load of fun. Thanks for all of your hard work MFG.

Can’t make it this weekend – but, killer job on saving the race.
Last minute heroics for sure.
Have a good time.
You guys are amazing. Can’t wait to race saturday. This really looks like it could be a cool venue too!
To add to Brian Snyder’s comments: also support the local businesses, and make sure they know who we are and why we were there!

Unbelievable! A huge thanks to the Parks Department and MFG for working double time to make this happen!
You guys ROCK!!!! Seattle’s Cyclocross community is blessed to have professional, dedicated individuals that love this sport. Thanks again and I’ll see you Saturday morning.
Speaking of local businesses, Cafe Rozella makes killer espresso. Buzz up before your race. http://community.seattletimes.nwsource.com/archive/?date=20051007&slug=deal07
